The Sage Series is a family of identically patterned knives that showcases the innovative lock mechanisms that helped define modern folding knife technology. The newest addition to this series, the Sage 5, highlights Spydercos patented Compression Lock, which uses one of the handles stainless steel liners, the stop pin, and an upward-facing ramp on the blades tang to create an incredibly strong and user-friendly lock mechanism. Nested within textured carbon fiber/G-10 laminate handle scales, the Compression Lock is paired with a full-flat-ground leaf-shaped blade crafted from CPM S30V particle metallurgy stainless steel. A Trademark Round Hole ensures quick, positive, one-handed opening and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip provides discreet left or right-side tip-up carry.
